Cag Ultra 3A Teakwood Right Grip 3/4 Bore

$340.00/Each
Part# 11-02930
MFR Model# 1506R

Overview

Teak wood is beautiful, absorbs sweat, preventing any sticky slime build-up. Grips come in standard, master and ultra styles in left and right hand. The standard grip comes with a push button on its top with a special dust proof cover. Normally is used for a push-to-talk button, is normally open switch and is good for 250,000 cycles minimum. The master grip has larger head to accommodate a 4-way trim switch & push-to-talk button.

The trim switch is the same one used with M.A.C. systems. The ultra grip has a larger surface to accommodate the 4-way trim and a auto-pilot and/or air brake with the push-to-talk located near the tip of the index finger. The ultra can handle a total of four switches, when using the air brake, in its head. Configurations can also be custom designed. All grips come with buttons and a 3/4", 7/8", 1" or 1-1/8" standard bore. Larger bores available.

Comes with Push-to-Talk, Cooley Hat & Auto Pilot.

Reviews

I love the idea of these grips, but there are 3 major issues for which I suggest you save your money for a different product. 1. The grips came with notable black grease-like marks. When I had AircraftSpruce contact the merchant, they said that is normal for teakwood. Now, I wish I could upload an image, because all you need is to have at least one functioning eye to see that the black marks do not even follow the contours of the wood veins and are very obviously due to something having rubbed against the grip, depositing this black/greasy substance. Merchant responded that that is how teak is (!!) and thats it. I sent a couple more pictures, but I dont think they have eyes.. 2. The buttons are shown in all pictures to be one with a black dust cover and one red. Product was delivered with two black ones. When I inquired, I was told the red one was only for custom orders, the default is two black -- which is written.. well, nowhere, nor was there any option for it when I placed the order. So the pictures are NOT representative of the product, and you should use your psychic powers to know that. Again, seller just told me the above and told me to stop bugging them. 3. As you have probably inferred, their customer service is awful. Save your $299+$299 for something better.

Q: Do these grips come with wire leads? Also, the description says that the push to talk switch is located near the index finger. In the picture, it looks like the thumb would activate that switch. Can you clarify the operation. Thanks

No wire leads included. The switch is located at the index position, not thumb.

Q: Do the grip switch holes come pre-drilled, or do we do them ourselves? Can we do them ourselves?

These come drilled from the manufacturer.
