Quality of this product is great. I needed these as replacements for an existing application that was done incorrectly. Once again, AS has great CS and shipping is always super fast.

Q: How do these MS20668 cable eyes attach to the cable, are they crimped on or can they be sodered on?

This would need to be swaged onto a cable with a high pressure swaging unit like a Kearney Swager P/N# 12-01188.

Q: What is the length of this item and does it come with a pin to go through the hole, if not say where I can get them?

The length from hole center to the end is 1.631 inch. These do no use pins, you would loop the cable through them and then swage it. You would want a "Pin eye" if using pins.

Q: There is a discrepancy between what you state here (see first question) and what is printed in your catalogue for this part number (MS20668) regarding the pin hole. Possibly you have confused this part with the AN165 or the MS21254 fitting.

MS20668-3 is a swaged fitting for stainless or galvanived cable. MS21254 and 165 are for turnbuckle assemblies, the MS21254 uses the cable clips and the AN165 will need to be safety wired.
