Q: Is this connector compatible with the 11-00500 Piper Style External Power Connector Socket - 11041? We install the Piper type sockets on our airplanes but we are having a difficult time locating a suitable substitute for the Piper plugs that are not being made anymore.

While the Pollak 11-852 and the Piper Style Socket (11-00500/11041) share a similar "single-pole" heavy-duty aesthetic, they are not directly compatible for a safe, reliable aviation installation.
