Overview

This professional heavy-duty spark plug gap setting tool is completely portable for field use, yet precise enough to set gaps to within 0.001". The precision screw drive with its comfortable knurled knob gaps any type of Massive Electrode Aviation Spark Plug reliably and without any danger of damaging the spark plug. Simply screw the spark plug into the base of the tool and turn the knob to the required gap width. Complete kit includes ATS420 Gapping Tool plus ATS450 wire feeler gauge.

Products will do the job, adjusting the spark plug gap takes practice. Issue I have is if you adjust the gap too much, there is no way to open gap back. Adjust the gap in small increments.

Its a great tool when you are in the field needing to gap sparkplugs it is not very quick but it definitely gets the job done

It works but needs to be redesigned to allow access for the wire gauge. I found myself taking the plug out to take a good gap measurement.
