I have a 9” reversible plies made by Milbar, I use it all the time. However sometime space is very limited and a pair of smaller ones would work much better. So I ordered the 6”, reversible with rubber retainer for clippings. Love the size. But I used it a few time and the grip of the jaws is not as good. For some reason one wire always slips out when I twist it. So I have to be careful while using it. Don’t have that issue with my 9”. Otherwise I love the functionality and size. I am not sure if there is a way to adjust how much the jaws can clamp.

Yes. These twisters are reversible so they will allow for right-hand (clockwise) and left-hand (counterclockwise) twists.

Q: Whats the wire capacity for the Milbar Wire Twister models 25W and 26W?

Per supplier: P/N# 12-01631 have an overall length of 8-3/4" and wire capacity of .041. P/N# 12-02018 have an overall length of 11" and a wire capacity of .060.

Q: What is the difference between cushion and standard throats?

The pliers with a cushion is used to help secure the cut off piece of wire, commonly used in areas where the cut off piece of wire can be a problem if dropped.

Q: Can you buy spare parts for the Milbar pliers?

We do not offer spare parts for these twisters.

Q: What is different of 25w vs45w?

25w has a cushion throat and the 45w has the standard.
