|The kit is replaces the worn O-rings (2) on the primer pump used on non-fuel injected engine installations. The primer seals frequently are not re-lubricated until someone complains the primer isn't working or the engine is hard starting. This is most evident by the pump being hard or stiff to operate. Generally speaking, by the time the pump stops performing, the seals are worn (to the point that lube is of little value) and must be replaced.|

Makes the primer better than new. Owners and pilots are amazed that their primer works so well after I redo their primer with this kit. Many did not realize that their primer was so stiff, they thought it was supposed to be hard to push in and out.
Easy to install and fixed the problem
1965 C 172 F. My primer was dry, rough, and wouldnâ€™t hold prime for start ups. 10 minute installation with this kit, and my primer worked like new again.
This kit was exactly what I needed. For a couple of months, the primer in my C150 seemed to be doing less and less and eventually, it just stopped. The kit was simple enough, just two O-rings that restored the seal and now it works like it was supposed to work. The directions that came with the O-rings were perfect. Thanks
Worked very well. Use a small pan (ie dish pan) underneath just in case it drips fuel when you remove the plunger.
I used this kit to restore my primer. Took all of 10 minutes. An easy fix for an annoying problem. Primer is now as good as new.
Simple and fast overhaul. Well worth it.
The dims are as follows: 3/8" I.D. x 1/2" O.D. x 1/16" cross width of o-ring.
