This compact fuel tester / double tip screwdriver combo measures the presence and percentage of alcohol in gasoline, and tightens errant screws. |
Fast shipping and as described. this is a shorter gasohol tester than Ive had before, but will work just as well as my old one from the 1970s
Perfect , works great for a DA40.. no pin required !
Simple device and meets my needs and cost was good
Flew Cherokees for years, then switched to Cessna. Suggestion: dont throw away the insert thingy. Its for Cessnas. If you do, youll have to buy another as I did. Also make sure the yellow handle is tight, otherwise the screwdriver bit could fall out. Slick, simple, etc.
This is a great tool for six bucks. Makes testing fuel very easy. Flat and phillips screwdriver tips, works with various types of gascolators, fits easily into a flight bag, and sturdy. What's not to like?
It is no miracle, but a nice little compact tester. Gasahol test takes 5-10 minutes.
This device does exactly what it is supposed to do which is tell you the percentage ethanol present in gasoline.
This is a product that requires 10 minutes of holding the fuel and water vertical, with no means to set it down, and no sealing top to set it aside, and no means of storing it vertically, so that you can get a reading of the alcohol sample % in your Mogas. Very, very poorly thought out device. Buy a Briggs and Stratton fuel vial mogas tester instead. All this is is a visual fuel tester for water in your fuel with a screw driver bit, its pretty useless as an ethanol content in your Mogas tester. Not going to hold it vertically for 10 minutes to get a reading. Dont buy it.
The body is plastic and the phillips head tip is steel.
