SAF-AIR push type fuel drain valves are close tolerance valves of simple design. These valves provide the most trouble free operation of any other line of valves in the industry. SAF-AIR valves are manufactured with an o-ring placed on the stem to seal against a flat seat on the body. This design eliminates an area where dirt can gather, thus putting an end to the main cause of fuel drain valve drip. FAA & PMA APPROVED.

Correct replacement for a Vans RV-7 fuel sump. Swapped it out for one that had a slight leak after twelve years. Followed others advice: left fuel in the tank and did the Indiana Jones swap, pulling the old one out and putting the new one in place with only a little bit of fuel getting on my hands.

I purchased this drain valve in case I encounter a leaking drain valve while away from home - its MUCH easier to replace the whole valve than trying to fiddle with replacing just the o-ring.

No. The CAV-110 (05-01865) does not have a wire hole drilled into it for safety wire.
This would use a 1/2" socket.
You would need an an844-4 (steel) or -4d(alum) and an AN910-1(brass) of -1D(alum coupling.
