Have not installed them yet but I did test them . I was concerned about the brightness because they are so small but they are very bright. Much more so than the incandescent lights.

This is my second set. The strobe stopped working on one lite with only 87 flight hours of use. Strobe was not used at all times so had considerably less time. New ones seem to be built differently. So hope for more longevity

Yes, 14V sets can be used in 12V systems as they are essentially interchangable.

We have updated our web page to be consistent with the manufacturer's. All listings of this information now say "waterproof and vibration proof" which is consistent with manufacturer's listing.
The blue wire is an optional sync feature. The lights are closely matched at the factory but they will, over cycling, end up out of sync if the blue wires are not connected between the lights. If you don't care about syncing then there is no need to connect the blue wires.
Yes, this is within the operating range for this light set.
The tech data sheet only shows the strobe (white) flashing. The red / green lights do not flash.
Repetition Rate of Strobe: 50 cycles per minute. This would equal 0.8333 flashes per second.
The Aveo Powerburst(05-04877) is the DayLite model.
Aveo does not provide candela information. They state that the candela depends on lab resting conditions.
The nav lights have a separate power supply than the strobe. You can wire two switches to operate independently.
