Great navigation and LED strobes for Light Sport use. Full 360 visibility and no RI which I had with other LED lights.
Per supplier: It needs power but notes say Self-contained (no external power supply needed). Basically an additional power supply is not needed. You can hook it straight into aircraft power.
The Microburst series does NOT have TSO approval. If you want a certified product then you will need to look at the ORION series. We offer it on our website, keyword search "Whelen Orion" to locate them.
