Overview

Superior Panel Technology has developed a brighter, more uniform and longer lasting Glare Shield lighting system.

The 18 x 1 Glow Strip electroluminescent lamps provide a beautiful fluorescent-like aviation green or a white light output. The ultra-thin lamps (.065 including the adhesive backing) are very flexible and conform to the curves of the underside of the glare shield. The Glow Strips meet the FAA 23.853 burn test. Inverters ARE included with the kit. The recommended dimmer for the Glow Strips is the PWM Dimmer by SPT.

Optional 14V or 28V battery back-up systems are available and recommended. See Accessories.

SPT OFFERS AN INDUSTRY LEADING LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE GLOW STRIP LAMPS AND A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE PWM DIMMERS!

Simply the best panel flood lighting solution out there. Redid my 182s eyebrow and wanted something to replace the tired stock floods. Kit was easy to install and is very high quality. Very satisfied with the results.

SPTs Glow Strip (green) with dimmer is by far the best glare shield panel lighting Ive seen. Much better light than the LEDs and with no loss of outside visibility at night on my 47 year old eyes. Highly recommend this product.

Q&A

Q: Is the installation of SPT's Glow Strips on a PA24 Ashby Glaresheild covered by the Ashby PA24 STC?

The SPT GLOW strips are not covered by teh Ashby PA24 STC. The lights that are included with the Ashby PA 24 are PN: 05-03994.

Q: Will the lights work on a stable 24 volt power source?

Yes these are rated up to 28v because a 24v system can spike up that high.
