A-3551-A: Double Sided Cut Key (Key Numbers 001-199) With Boot
ACS Keys beginning with key number 200 and above are no longer available. Per service bulletin SB24-01, all switches are to be replaced if older than 10 years.

Notice: The keys for ACS ignition switches are imported from Belgium and are the only keys that are approved replacements for use on ACS ignition switches. Aircraft Spruce ® furnishes only precut keys and does not offer key blanks. Generic keys can create an unsafe condition and may void the FAA approval for the ACS ignition switch. Aircraft Spruce ® is the only approved provider of replacement keys for ignition switches manufactured by ACS Products Co.

Q: How do I order a replacement key from ACS when I have the key (lock) number and what does its cost?

Add this to your cart and when you go to check out it will ask you for your key number.

Q: How much will it cost to send the ignition out of you don’t have the key?

If you need a replacement key for your ignition we can order one from the vendor, we would just need to know the number that is stamped on the ignition where the key is inserted.

Q: Does the ACS key come already cut? I have the number from the original... where do I specify it in the order?

Yes, it does. When you add the item to your shopping cart and go to checkout, you will be prompted to enter your key number so it can be duplicated.

Q: I have a double sided key, and I would like to order additional copies. The number on the key is either 960, or 096 depending on how the key is oriented. Do you know which way the number should be read? Thank you.

It would be 096 for a double sided key.
