The pig tail is 6 inches shorter than the original aero flash product. It’s in the avionics shop now for lengthening.

This replacement strobe tube assy was for a legacy Grimes system that worked perfectly as a Whelen replacement. It required calling the help line at Whelen, however to find the correct part number. Amazing that Spruce had two in stock! Thank you!!

Per the manufacturer, physically the lights are the same but the wiring must be verified before installation Whelen is unaware of the details of the Aeroflash wiring.
Whelen recommends using the A625 assembly as a replacement for the 073-0171.

Its neither, it gets power from the power supply. As long as you have the power supply this would work on an aircraft with either voltage.
This requires an external power supply so the aircraft's voltage is not a factor.
