Fuel Filter, Fuel Fitting
2 Bolts, 2 Nuts
Note: Pumps are not FAA Approved.
These pumps measure less than 3" in any direction and weigh only 18 oz. Fuel is supplied as soon as the ignition is turned on so the engine will start faster at colder temps. Built-in pressure relief prevents flooding and assures fast re-starts on hottest days. The all-steel plated case is water tight. Mounts with two bolts. For best results, mount the pump close to the fuel tank and below the liquid level.
The tank is self-priming to 12" to 36" Lift min dry. Standard 12 V models require only 1 amp at max. delivery. Many models are available, but these are the ones recommended by Rutan Aircraft Factory, Stoddard Hamilton and many other aircraft designers. All of the pumps shown feature the all nylon valve and plunger as specified by Rutan Aircraft in the Canard Pusher newsletter.
Worked great with quick delivery
Havent installed yet but looks like it will work as advertised. Great price, in stock and shipped quicker than expected. Would order again if needed.
Super fast shipping. Product was an exact replacement and work perfectly. These guys know their stuff.
Best price anywhere for Facet pumps. Have one on my Triumph and decided to get a second one as a backup, although I have never had any problems with the original
While it didnt test the pumps output to verify it meets specs, installed on an Onan generator so not hugely critical, it works fine and its fairly quiet. The lift strength is way stronger than stock pumps on these, even with a very low tank and empty lines it primed impressively fast. This was the cheapest price I could find on it and it showed up well before it was promised, excellent seller!
Super fast service and product as requested
Exactly as ordered & shipped promptly 28may2019 - installed new FACET ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP #40105 in 1978 GMC 350 motor tested output - 16 fl oz in 15 seconds = 0.5 gal US per min = 30 GPH US tested pressure - 2.5 PSI no substantial variation with engine on-off or at 2000 RPM mounted inside of frame 3 ft from tank - dry lifted 8+/- inches easily with only 3 gal of fuel in tank
Previous pumps a service reliable, still needs to be installed
Very happy with this product. Have ordered before - will order again. Thanks,
Great customer service and fast shipping. Product is as described and is working great as a fuel pump on a motorcycle !!
Per the manufacturer, no, these are not recommended for fuels in the gaseous state.
Yes, it has a 3/8" male flare fitting, AN-6, attached to the pump.
The part number of the pump is always etched into the mounting flange on these Facet fuel pumps. For example, the 40105 has 40 105 etched into the mounting flange on one side, and on the other flange is 12V 14D.
It can be mounted vertically, but the manufacturer does not recommend it being mounted upside down.
The unit has female SAE J512 threads, which have a 45* flare. AN fittings have a 37* flare, and can not be used with each other.
The pump you ordered has 1/8" NPT threads, and the carbs use 1/4" fuel line. You'll want to use two brass nipples part number AN840-4, and whatever clamps you prefer.
Yes, you can use these pumps as the priming or lift pump, however you should choose the pump with enough GPH for your engine.
Yes, this should work just fine with Avgas.
This includes the pump as well.
Per our Rotax tech: 40106 will work just fine.
