Great plugs to use with Dual E-Mags on my O-360 A1A. At $2.50 each I replace all 8 at each CI. These are the solid core type, which is the type you want to use. Thanks Spruce!

Great plugs for electronic ignition (P-Mags, in my case). As mentioned by another, be sure to get the plugs with non-removable tips. BR8ES 5422 has removable tips while BR8ES 3961 do not. Replace every 100 hours or annual.

Make sure you buy the solid top plugs for aircraft use not the screw on type. Also check the gap as most car plugs are set to .020 and Rotax runs best on .015

Absolutely great started on the 1st crank

NGK makes great spark plugs, however, your Q & A Section recommends the NGK DCPR8E #4179 Solid Core plug as the correct plug for my Rotax 912iS to replace the outrageously expensive Rotax OEM plug ($50.70). However, the Rotax OEM plugs terminal is much smaller diameter than the NGK 4179s (about half the diameter). Gonna order one NGK #4339 removable terminal plug to see if the terminal is more comparable to the OEM plug. Will let you know.

Be aware, these spark plugs are NGK DP9EA and they produce a lot of radio static noise after installing. Despite saying as recommended for 914, they should not be for sale at all since your radio going to be crazy noisy with them. The ones you really need are NGK DP_R_9EA, with a resistor.

BR8ES have screw-on terminals solid terminals are recommended for aircraft use - they wont vibrate loose like screw-on terminals.

Ordered solid top DCPR7E solid terminal nut spark plugs as shown on your website and got screw on type. They advised me to use lock tite to secure the tops. . NGK website says not to use lock tite because it is a non conductor. Second order like this. This annual 2 were loose.... after much research it appears the plug number should be DCPR7EGP. Not happy....
