Reviews

I use this for a count down timer for fuel not ILS approaches. This is the fuel timer most of us need because it will count down from hours rather than just 99 minutes (1 hour 39 minutes). I looked at tons of timers and finally found this was the only one that did that and had all the number buttons for speed and ease of setting it and STOPS when it gets to zero rather than counting back up and fooling you into thinking you still have time, and fuel, left. Big readable display. I rip the hardware off the back and stick it on the panel with double stick tape or a Scotch Command strip. I have used them for 8 or 9 years on 2 aircraft. Severe use in a vibrating helicopter in the heat and sun. No failures. However, if your cockpit gets extremely hot the screen will show 888888 until it cools down. It happened twice. I would expect other LCD timers would do the same. I bought two spares because if these ever go out of production there is no other timer that I have found that does all these things.

Q: I would like to know the size of the battery and the model number of the battery that fits this model. I presently own one Cat No# 40007 and I need a replacement battery. It a small circular battery but have since lost it and would like to replace it.

For the model #4007 the battery is a MAXELL 303 SR44SW.
