RADIANT'S Universal Airspeed Indicator (RUASI) is built for pilots who want airspeed to remain the primary visual focus. Its main dial presents indicated airspeed in a clear analog-style format, while the instrument’s right-side data stack adds digital altitude, true airspeed, outside air temperature, and vertical speed in a compact, easy-to-scan layout. When enabled, the new G-meter becomes part of the dial rotation as well.

Rather than acting like a single-purpose ASI, UASI gives the builder a more capable instrument without losing the familiarity of a dedicated airspeed presentation. It is especially attractive when airspeed warrants the greatest visual emphasis, but extra information still needs to earn its place in the panel.

The updated platform allows meaningful aircraft-specific setup.

UASI supports 100 or 200 top-of-scale airspeed range selection, knots or MPH, inHg or hPa Kollsman units, °F or °C temperature display, and user-settable airspeed arc values including VSO, VS1, VFE, VF1, VNO, and VNE. The airspeed sensor may also be zeroed and saved to non-volatile memory.

An external temperature probe is included, and UASI is available in both 2-1/4 inch and 3-1/8 inch versions for flexible installation.

I love this gauge! AS, VSI, ALT, Temp, and True AS all in one 2 1/4 package. Easy to read, excellent warranty, Weighs a couple ounces at most, simple two wire hook-up. For an ultralight or LSA, its the ideal instrument for limited panel space.

Q: What size is this gauge, 2-1/4 or 3-1/8?

Its a 2-1/4 gauge.

Q: Is the air temperature probe included? Is the barometric pressure adjustable?

Yes, the air temp probe is included and the baro pressure can be adjusted.

Q: Do you need a pitot-static system for this gauge?

Yes, this does need pitot-static to function.

Q: I see this Radiant Universal Air Speed Indicator-Gen 2 comes in 2 sizes. Is the screen size the same on the 2-1/4 and 3-1/8 variant with a different bezel? What is the diagonal screen size?

The screen is the same size the only change is an adapter ring added to make it 3-1/8. The diagonal size is 2-3/8.
