These tires will fill the size gap between the 5.00-5 aircraft tire and the 3.40-5 industrial tire. Looks like a scaled-down 5.00-5. Fits VariEZ, KR's, LongEZ Nosewheels and most experimentals using 5" wheels. These tires require tubes. (tube-type) Formerly known as Lamb tires, these are manufactured by Cheng-Shin. |

ULTRALIGHT & EXPERIMENTAL 11-400 X 5 8PLY 7046-8
Had to make a little extra clearance on my Lancair due to the slightly larger diameter over the 6 ply version. Be aware as it would have caused the wheels to jam up on retraction.

This is a good quality tire at a reasonable price. I get about 3 years of wear before replacement is needed ( about 210 takeoffs and landings.) I am on my third set without any problems at all. I use these tires on the main gear of a Sonex tail wheel aircraft. The tires would last longer if I alternated them from side-to-side, but I prefer to replace them based on age.
Its good tire.i am using since last 1 year. One problem is that i could not find its max load capacity and manufacturing year.
