I have been using Tempest filters for 20+ years. I just purchased a Beech Baron A56TC which calls out for the AA48104. While the threads probably fit, there is no physical way that the filter will fit in the space available in this application. The filter is longer than their competitions filter which does (just barely) fit. Bummer, because the other filter is quite a bit more expensive. The 56TC/A56TC should be removed from their application chart.

The AA48108-2 and AA48109-2 will have the anti-drain back feature.

You would need to check application guide for your engine but they are the same thread and can be interchangeable physically.
