|D-Sub Backshells - Straight/Top Entry Backshell.|
A high quality backshell that was advertised.
Exactly what I needed. The counter person at will call was very, very helpful.
Works as described. Seems well made and relatively compact. I did not find modification of the shell necessary. I used it with the 9-pin D connector, which uses tiny folded tabs to hold the front and back halves of the metal connector shroud together. At first, since those tiny tabs fold to the backside, there was interference with the front face of the backshell. Fixed the problem perfectly by squeezing the tabs of the connector flat against the flange with a rivet squeezer. Then the connector fit the shell perfectly. Only took me a few seconds. I would order again.
Had to modify the clip to fit the 25 d connector
It had to be modified to work depth is not appropriate to hold connector
Housing does not fit. D-sub 25 plug.
POS. Does not fit the 15 pin connector properly. Tolerances too tight for connector dimensions, places undue stress on the hood once assembled.
The plastic housing do not fit the pin SD connector. The dimension of the flange is to thick for the plastic retainer
Does not fit the 37 pin sub-d connector that they sell.
