Only giving this 3 stars simply for the fact that the mounting hardware to mount this to the case is too short. It needs longer screws in order for the nylon nuts to actually work. Still need to go to the store. Would hate for my case to fall off due to short hardware.

The mounting screws are too short and it appears theyve known about this for some time and done nothing about it. You will need to buy longer screws (size: #8-32) either online or at a hardware store. The screws they include will barely catch the metal threads of the locknut but arent long enough to catch the nylon gripping section of it. Overall, this is just a piece of painted metal and an elastic hook and loop strap with improperly sized bolts. Way overpriced because Aviation and its patented complementary product.
