Firewall blanket is black and looks best when in 3' sections. Note: This material is used for cosmetic purposes on the inside portion of a firewall to cover up an unsightly firewall. It is not fireproof and is not an actual firewall material. |

Pleats in Firewall Blanket are vertical instead of horizontal.
Pleats in blanket are vertical instead of horizontal. None of the pleats are straight nor the same distance apart ranging from 5” to 12” apart. Looks like a five years stitched it together. Stitching is coming apart and haven’t done anything more than remove it from the box.

Yes this will come in the 3 layers as pictured, and they will be sewn together. The two outer layers are the same so both sides will be black.
This is 5/16" thick.
Pliobond or a spray adhesive like Thermo-Tec heavy duty would work.
