Q: Regarding the Whelen Microburst: Can strobe and nav work independent of each other? If so, how is it wired and switched?

Per the supplier: Please see installation guide in the "Documents" tab with wiring diagram. These can be operated independently and function independently.

Q: Is the Whelen Microburst I compatible with a 28 Volt systems?

No, the Microburst I tail light is made for 14V systems.

Q: What kind of conductor,(size, shielded or not) do you use to plug it?

No shielding required. 20 awg wire is acceptable.
