Nice snug fit on my PC680! Bracket arrived in good condition, no damage from shipping or warped flanges as mentioned in other reviews.

A good solid battery holder. Had to cut the forward edge as it impeded my ability to remove the battery without removing the bolts holding the holder in place. Easy to install.

Great for odyssey batteries clean and secure installation easier to anchor than most upright boxes. I have found it also fits the midsize Powersonic battery as well.

The two brackets that I originally ordered were distorted and incorrectly cut. However these were satisfactorily replaced with new which are great.
Thank you.

My bracket was bent/twisted a bit, so both mounting ears didnt sit flush. This added difficulty to aligning everything for installation. Also, part the curved lip at the top that holds the battery down protruded too far into the battery, pushing it back, and needed to be shaved down. Not very good quality control on my example. I should have exchanged it, but I wanted to get my install done. Other than those issues, the bracket was fine. Inspect yours before installing. Most are probably fine. Also, Id love to know who actually makes it and have a better part # to use, rather than BLACK. I used the Spruce part # for my 337. Is it made by EnerSys? As an aside, you can get stainless steel versions elsewhere, but Im guessing that the textured powder coating on this black version may actually disperse heat better (more surface area). I believe its made from aluminum/alloy, but not sure of the grade. Install tip: The bracket needs to tilt forward to remove the battery, so have the threaded end of the bolts on the outside with at least 1/4 extra thread past the nuts. Back off the nuts, tilt bracket forward, and slide battery out.

This battery bracket is so poorly made it is unusable on aircraft.
It is not even close to square & 2 dimensions are nearly a tenth inch short, as the flat sheet was improperly bent / formed. A Spruce customer service person got with the manufacturer on this and they mentioned, The hold downs have been made the same way for almost 2 decades. Being a soft metal, aluminum can fluctuate quite a bit and they will never look to be perfectly straight. If you put a battery in the bracket and mount it down, it is all square and flush and fits the battery perfectly. If they were to return the bracket, they would get another that looks exactly the same. I agree with the last sentence so, Ill be returning it.
