I am very happy with this Odyssey PC680. I used it in my Carbon Cub EX. Lasted 3 years. Not bad for a little battery in a high compression 180HP engine.
Looked around for this battery to include Battery Source and could not find. Aircraft Spruce hade in stock and shipped immediately. Thanks!
Odyssey PC680 the last one lasted 3 years still started the aircraft, but wanted to be sure I would gets starts on long cross countries. Great battery for the price and I feel to very dependable. Aircraft Spruce is amazing in stock and they even brought it over to the airport for me, amazing service.
My current PC680 was still working well in my RV9A after 8 years but I changed it out in my July Conditional Inspection as a preventive maintenance step. Plan to use the old one in my lawn tractor.
These are great batteries
I recently purchased a plane and the owner suggested I replace the battery since it was the original - meaning a battery made in 2006! The battery showed no signs of needing replacement but not something Im willing to risk for $130. Based on the excellent life of the previous battery, buying another Odyssey was an easy choice.
I bought an airplane from an estate that sat for four years. I turned on the master switch and the master light came on. I took the battery out and put it in another plane expecting to jump start it. Hit the starter switch to see if I had connection, and it turned over. Amazingly, it started the pane...barely, but it did. Charged it up and it works fine...
The usual good service from ACS. The PC-680 arrived completely full of Volts and Amps. Probably some Ohms. in there also. It works great as did its previous PC-680. They both live up for the PC part. Very Politically Correct electric providers! 5 Stars. Gerry Mahoney. 2WA1
Sadly I am having to replace my Odessey PC-680. It only lasted from 10/18/2011 to yesterday 9/07/2017. I was hoping for it to go for SIX years and it almost did. I used a Battery Tender trickle charger to maintain it.
The last three planes I assembled receive this battery. Lost lasting. Good choice.
The terminals are a metric M6 bolt size.
