Spruce had this on the shelf at their West Chicago store. I like to do my own oil changes on my vehicles and my Ram 1500 has about the worst place you could put an oil filter. Ive tried several different methods including cutting down a plastic container and trying to keep it around the filter while removing it. This product made the job pretty simple and I didnt get oil all over the truck and driveway this time. Nice to buy something and have it do what you need it to do.
Looks to be the best funnel I have. Will have to see how long it lasts. Worth the money.
I have been looking for this product for a while. Nothing is more frustrating than doing an oil drain and having it end up on your shop floor. Most of my lawn equipment ends up draining where I do not want it, many aircraft drains are also inconvenient. There were other vendors selling the product, but I prefer to buy from people that I know and have a business relationship with than a no-name selling from eBay or some other site. The price was competitive, it got here quickly and all my expectations were met. Thanks Aircraft Spruce.
Exactly what i needed and ordered and was delivered in three days with regular USPS delivery.
The ability to shape this makes it very helpful anytime I remove my oil filter. I have pretty much gotten it down so well I seldom even lose a drop of oil. I have had a few. They work so well that the are always the first tool to disappear. I never know who borrowed it... but I am absolutely sure they will return it - some day!
Sure makes changing oil filters on my 185 less messy. Good enough someone asked to borrow it and never returned it. Dont remember who so I purchased another one.
