Overview

This precision temperature probe has an 1/8" NPT thread. Electrically isolated from the engine which is helpful in some installations Accurate with a maximum installed error reading of less than 2 degrees over the full temperature range. Recommended for applications were exact water and/or oil temperature readings are required.

The probe fell out of the body so I glued it back in, time will tell if it stays put or not. The unit came with no instructions on wiring which would save a lot of researching for info

Q: How long is the wire to the probe?

Per MGL: The lead coming off of the temperature probe (11-05570) is 1'. This can be extended to match your application.

Q: Does this MGL sender have two wires?

This sender has 2 wires.

Q: What type of wire is needed to extend this sensor?

This is wire has two unshielded 24 gauge wires in the jacket so two unshielded 24 wires will work to extend.

Q: What is the temp range of this sender and could it be used for fuel temp sensing?

0-300 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT and this probe is meant for water or oil.

Q: Is one of the wires for ground?

No, both wires are run into the gauge.

Q: Will this sensor work with MGL RDAC?

Yes, it will work with that unit.
