Retrieve all the data stored in the EDM-700 or only the new data recorded since your last retrieval. In either case, no data is erased in the EDM unit.The data will be saved to a PC in a compressed format file. PC program supplied with the Data Recording Option will decompress the data for display and use by other programs, such as MS Excel or Lotus 123.
EDM-700 Data Recording contains a date and time clock. You may also program an aircraft ID, such as your aircraft registration number or your name that will appear in the output data file.

I love my EDM 700! I get my GPS from my Garmin 496 handheld and once I got my K Factor dialed-in, my fuel flow is amazingly close for a carbureted C182. Once I got used to working the unit into my scan, I was glad I did not choose the color display because it fits in so well with all my other steam gauges.

Have had this instrument only 4 years when the display stopped working. Had to send back to the factory for $275 worth of repairs. JPI told me that is very common. I guess I will have to budget to repair this gauge every 4 years. Poor design/quality. I have other similar gauges that have worked properly for 15+ years.
I ordered with fuel flow and do not know the K factor so can’t set that up. I did not get the extra bayonet and my IA removed the EGT gauge now I have to reinstall. I am not sure the install instructions are adequate

You will need to order the USB option for the EDM 700 or 800 first for this to work with a USB storage device but at this time PC only for interface.
Yes, JPI engine options can be added at any time after the EDM 700 is installed (not needed to be sent back to JPI).
Part Number 10-02012 does include 6 EGT and 6 CHT probes.
Because the EDM requires a special plug for the transducer, we do not recommend using the FT60 on an EDM 700.
The file is saved as a FAT 32 4GB memory stick. It can be saved as a CSV file after loading to the computer.
Yes, the EDM software is compatible with Windows 10.
When you add the main EDM 700 system to the cart, you will see an options window pop up and you can check the oil pressure option. The oil pressure option is part number 10-04183 and can also be added to your cart separately on the "Order By Part #" page.

It does not come standard with the unit. You have to have man, oat, rpm, and ff to get percentage of horsepower.
Per JPI the EDM 700 does not come with a tandem option, however the EDM 930 does have a two screen option.
