AERO TRAINER 6.00-6 6PLY
good product at a good price
Great tires! I’m flying a Titan Tornado off a paved runway. Seems to be a good match they are a good size for off airport strips.
perfect tires for our 172 training airplane.
WE USE THE AERO TRAINER 6-PLY TIRES ON OUR FLIGHT SCHOOL C152S, C172S AND PA28S. THEY ARE LIGHT WEIGHT AND SEEM TO HOLD UP WELL. THEY ARE LESS EXPENSIVE THAN RETREADS. NO COMPLAINTS FROM MECHANICS AND INSTRUCTORS.
AS A MAINTENANCE FACILITY THAT SUPPORTS A FLIGHT SCHOOL FLEET OF 25 PLUS AIRCRAFT, WE GO THROUGH A LOT OF TIRES. HARD LANDINGS AND OVER-BRAKING RESULT IN SHORT TREAD LIFE. THE MULTI-RIB DESIGN PROVIDES BETTER GROUND CONTROL ON WET RUNWAYS. AS OF YET, WE HAVE NOT COMPARED THE TREAD LIFE TO THE FORMERLY USED RETREADS. WHEN WE DO WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.
Bought two of these tires One was usable. One was not. Thus the rating is for the tire that was not usable. There were cracks in the threads.
