Never had any issues with a Weldon. I prefer their product much so over the alternatives. (seem to last about 50% longer) Will continue to buy.
If ordering the 8100-J pump to replace a 8100 on PA-30 (Twin Comanche), you will also need bracket kit CJ33963-2, available from Quality Aircraft Accessories (QAA.com). Took a few days to figure this out.
Needs repairs after less than a year and 50 hours.
