Designed for hang gliders but can be mounted on low speed aircraft as an airspeed indicator. Used on the Quicksilver and other ultralights. A unique design using a floating disc indicator guided by a stainless steel wire inside tapered plastic tube. Easy to read. |

HALL WIND METER 0-80 MPH
Seems pretty accurate. Matches my GPS ground speed when there is no wind affecting my ground speed.
HALL WIND METER 0-80 MPH
Very nice! Cant wait to put it to use.
Robust construction, calibration seems good.
Very nice quality.
More accurate than the airspeed indicator gauge. More responsive than the 85 mph Hall Wind Meter too! Bought the 55 to replace the 85 on my Quicksilver and I am so glad I did.
product was received within four days after ordered, was in good condition and was reasonably priced.
I am running two of these on my ultralight, one on each side of the fuselage. One of them had a spider web in it last evening - was stuck at zero MPH. Real glad I had two. It was very simple to disassemble and clean, and very easy to re-assemble correctly. Highly recommended. Very good value.
This speed indicator gives very precise, consistent readings. I installed this on an aircraft with a 25 mph stall because the conventional airspeed indicator wasnt working well under 40 mph. Above 40, the conventional asi works well, but so does the hall wind meter, which costs a fraction of what a conventional asi costs.
Very good value. Appears to be accurate: I did some ad-hoc calibration to check it near my ultralights stall speeds by holding it well outside the window of my truck and it looks correct. Simple, rugged, easy to mount, good price. Comes with a blue cloth cover. I installed a second one on the opposite side of my nose fairing to get a redundant reading in case the left side one gets clogged with a bug or debris and they both read the same. A very good solution at a very good price.

No, please use part number 10-04200 or 10-04300 for mounting.
Per supplier: mph refers to statute mph, not nautical. The Hall Airspeed Indicator in kph, part # 15-04602, is just kph.
