The "R" or "L" following the dash number designates "right" or "Left." The "S" or "L" (2nd letter following dash number) indicates "short" or "long." AN 161 Fork is available with either right or left-hand thread. |
Rather expensive, does what a turn buckle fork should. Does not have slit for using turn buckle locking wire...
Fast shipping, professional service.
The turnbuckle forks I ordered were here fast and were exactly what I needed. I appreciate the Fast Service by Aircraft Spruce.
Fast shipping and good items~~
Excellent quality
It is the exactly what I needed, but only 1/4 of my order. I received 1 and was told the others are on backorder. I was told that the person I spoke with would check to see when the others are expected and would let me know, but she never contacted me with any information. As I near the final segment of my build before I cover the plane, I need those parts to complete the flying wire setup for my wings. Not happy with the customer service and apparent poor inventory of the part.
Catalog states this part number is used with locking clips. That is not the case as the parts I received did not have the clip slots. I am having to use safety wire to secure this part.
The number after the dash represents the fork dimensions. We have added a reference chart which should assist with ordering.
