Without a doubt, its the brightest taxi light I have ever seen. Its like turning on the sun in front of your airplane. You can see at least thirty yards ahead of you and fifteen yards on each side. The LED lights I replaced did not cover half that area and were not nearly as white or as bright. This light is a direct replacement for the incandescent or other LEDs and is really easy to install. It is well-designed and really does the job. Yes, its a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4587 Taxi Light FAA PMA 28V
Good dispersion for a taxi light. Very bright.
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4587 Taxi Light FAA PMA 28V
Fantastic light very bright
Easy replacement, much brighter than standard PAR36 light. Really lights up the runway! I wish I had upgraded sooner.
This light is well made and should last a very very long time. It is surprisingly light in weight but very solid. Unfortunately I needed a PAR 46 and this is a PAR 36 so I had to return it. Cant wait to get my correct lamp!
These things are awesome! Used this in-place of a 100 watt GE4509
Simple straight forward installation on our Piper 140 D and provides a massive amount more light than stock. Not even on the same scale. I highly recommend this light.
