I went from 20 yr old incandescent bulbs to these. It was like going from a Bic lighter to the Bat Signal. It is unbelievable how bright these are and how easy they were to install.
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4596 Landing Light FAA PMA 28V
A little pricey, but very bright. Not polarity-sensitive, which is nice. Drop-in replacement for the GE light on my 310 nose gear taxi light. Im a fan of AeroLEDs products. Hopefully, the latest acquisition doesnt affect their quality or outstanding customer support.

Awesome!! Like turning on the sun!
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4596 Landing Light FAA PMA 28V
UNBELIEVABLE! Its like turning on the sun in front of your airplane. You can see at least a hundred yards ahead. Easiest and safest night landings I have ever had. This light is a direct replacement for the incandescent or other LEDs and is really easy to install. Yeah, $650 is expensive, but this time, you really do get what you pay for.
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4596 Landing Light FAA PMA 28V
Easy to install, just like changing the old incandescent that Ive had to do so many times before. Happy theyll be no more changes. Light is great, MUCH brighter and whiter in color, and I understand it uses much less electrical power. Manufacterer is very helpful and friendly.

Have a 2003 cessna 172sp and they say it is a drop in but did not fit.
AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4596 Landing Light FAA PMA 28V
Fantastic light very bright
Easy replacement, much brighter than standard PAR36 light. Really lights up the runway! I wish I had upgraded sooner.
This light is well made and should last a very very long time. It is surprisingly light in weight but very solid. Unfortunately I needed a PAR 46 and this is a PAR 36 so I had to return it. Cant wait to get my correct lamp!
