the item was for a similar plane...however, my plane has bladders and the Fuelhawk sent was not for the bladder equipped 182. you did not offer the bladder only Fuelhawk. If you had, I would have bought it. So I had to go to another vendor and the fuel hawk you sent isnt worth the postage to send back.

Yes, the FUELHAWK CESSNA-182 43.5 GALLON FUEL GAUGE is 11 inches long.
The Fuelhawk fuel gauge (13-01469) is designed for a Cessna 182. We have no cross-reference data for the Cessna 206, please check specific fuel tank dimensions for compatibility.
It is calibrated for 43.5 gallons. This should be close enough to use for a 44 gallon tank, but a universal unit can be calibrated to a 44 gallon tank. The universal unit will come with calibration instructions.
