We purchased a RG24-12 in 2021 and installed it on a Cessna 172S back in 2021. Never had any problems with it despite it not being on a trickle charger once. Due to non-electrical maintenance complications, the aircraft has been sitting outdoors for 8+ months but when I went back in to check on the airplane, the no-load voltage is still 25+ volts and it still sustains 24.0+ volts with the master and avionics bus active. What an impressive battery.
Seems much stronger than the old lead/acid battery.

Great battery, though it is FAA approved for what that’s worth for the price it should be lithium, thus is certified aviation though

No, the 24volt battery tender is not meant to be used for Gill or Concorde batteries
This can only be charged with a 24 volt charger. It is hard to say how long they will last, just like any battery it depends on use, maintenance, and environmental issues.
Yes, this is a suitable replacement.
