I have spots in my eyes from testing! These are WAY brighter than expected! They flash 3 times per second, with about a 1/2 second pause. No, they can not be synchronized, but that will not be a problem. They are also smaller in thickness than I expected, and this is a good thing. I purchased the Red, Green and one White. Measured the current draw at about 670 milliamps each, which is right about where they should be. Perfect for experimental and ultralight aircraft!

These are great little anti-collision lights. I bought two of them for my Kolb Firestar ultralight. Very bright, light weight, easy to install, very low power usage. I would highly recommend this unit.

These units are light and velcro to the fibreglass wingtips on my Challenger ultralight. Way less expensive and way lower current draw than conventional nav lights.

These lights work well and simple to install Recommend them if youre on a budget.

I received my mini strobes and alligator clipped them to a battery and tested them by walking back about 200ft in daylight to see how bright they are. They are dfinitely not as bright as certified wingtip strobes and will not be very visible at a 1/4 mile or more BUT!! FOR THE MONEY adn power/brightness vs current draw... there is no other strobe that can compare! I am going to use them on my Searey Amphib facing forward on the struts so BOATS can see me better when approaching for water landings. I plan on buying two more so there are two on each side. this will create a random flash pattern which will catch the eyes better AND increase the size and brightness of the strobes when viewed at a distance. I already have Aveo wingtip LED strobe/nav lights and these are almost as bright for far less money. I would recommend that you put as many as you can on instead of just one.. at this price you can afford about four for what youd pay for one other strobe. Although the velcro is a quick mount. I would never trust it in the airstream.. I recommend silicone RTV, it is flexible and will NOT let go, BUT can easily be peeled free when you need to remove a unit. I used it for years in wet, vibrating, flexing locations and it works like a charm every time.. you can get it at the auto or hardware store. I will raise my rating to 5 stars when they are mounted and functioning if they work as well as I think they will!

These lights are great! I had a problem with one with the small red power wire breaking off the strobe itself. The only reasons I gave this product a 4 stars instead of 5 was of a poor response by the manufacturer concerning getting a warranty replacement.

The light is not sealed. It filled up with moisture while my airplane was tied down. Underneath the cap was a substantial amount of water. When I was using it was decently bright but not as bright as the reviews make it out to be. Interesting, not typical, light pattern.

Very overpriced. Will return.
