Engineered for a long service life, the B model turn coordinator features a proven AC rotor powered by a solid-state inverter, creating less heat behind the panel. Utilizing a brushless rotor design, this instrument has top industry ratings of 4,800 hours MTBF. It is ideal for use in high performance aircraft and cold-climate applications.
All 3-inch turn coordinators operate from 1032 volts DC for convenience and reliability.
Works great. The few spool up delay was disconcerting at first, but OK after getting used to it.
MCI TURN COORDINATOR 12-32V 3P BLACK BRUSHLESS 1394T100-7B
Worked well. For the little price difference from other brands that are not TSO. This unit is built well and accurate.
Very nice gauge.
work fine, just a little long to unflag, its a rotation speed sensor, not the cc alimentation
I won this unit at Aircraft Spruce's Customer Appreciation Day 2013, just in time, my old unit was doing 90 second turns. The unit I won was unlighted and I needed a lighted unit. I emailed MidContinent's Sales & Customer Service Manager Bryan Sitner who exchanged the unit at no cost. Too soon to rate the instrument so I'm giving 5 stars to their Customer Service!
The turn coordinator works just fine. I am a little peeved that I ordered what I thought was one with a high wing aircraft example on the display and got one with a low wing, a minor detail to be sure but for the price of this instrument you’d think the example of what you see online would be what you get. I called To inquire about swapping, was transferred to a voicemail and then never heard back after leaving a message. So a little disappointed..
