Just what I wanted. Worked perfect for installation of my new tires and tube. The talc is very slippery and even lubed the tire bead to help seat the rims.

Q: Can you please send me an MSDS for Tire Talc, part number 17-250?

We have added the MSDS for the tire talc to the 'Documents' tab of this web page. Please download and review them there.

Q: Does Tire Talc have an expiration date or does it not expire?

This will last 2-3 years as long as it is properly stored with no moisture.

Q: How much tire talc does it take per tire/tube?

This would depend on the tire size. Best bet is to speak with an A&P mechanic to see what their preference would be on how much to use on your tire/tube. There is no data / table / chart to refer to with how much to use.

Q: What is the quantity, one pound?

13 oz shaker (.85 LB).
