Reviews

Was exactly what I expected and easy to work with. Meant for more straight line vent plumbing but will bend some. Cutting the wire a ring down and removing it till it fits snug over tube works great. Shipped on time.

I give the quality of the product a 5 Star.... But the ordering on line is a little confusing on the site. I ordered one piece pf duct tubing, 3 in length.... But I was shipped three individual 1 lengths. When I contacted a sales rep about it they explained why and thats what I ordered. Again somewhat confusing on line when you place the order for this product. I was given the option to return the items but just decided to sleeve the pieces back together since it was just a duct for a windshield defroster vent and I didnt want to wait to finish the repair.

I used this as the air tube for my Ural motorcycle. I used the 2 pipe. Pretty easy to cut I set it perpendicular to a seam in my garage floor and used my Dremel to make a straight cut on both sides. Took about 9 for each side. It looks awesome and seals better than the original pipes

Outer white wrap gets cut easily on installation. Interior wall is good for not allowing moisture to corrode the wire wrap. Worked for vent tubing on C-182RG for rear seat passenger vents.

Q: I need 41 inches of 3 inch (i.d.) CEET ducting. I assume I need to order 4 'units' of tubing which would give me 48 continuous inches. Is this correct?

That is correct. It is sold per foot, in whole units. So you need quantity 4 for 48 continuous inches, then cut off 7 inches once you get it.

Q: The description table gives only one internal dimension for a duct with an oval cross-section. Is the given ID the longest dimension of the oval or the shortest dimension? For example, for CEET ducting with an oval cross-section of 3.2 by 1.7 should I order 05-30513 or 05-30507?

CEET material is round not oval. Order using the I.D. of the unit.

Q: What is the difference between MT & MTD ducting? VENA ~ ~ ~ ~ MT ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (CAT EQUIVALENT) FLEXIBLE AIRCRAFT DUCTING VENA ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ MTD ~ ~ ~ ~~ (CEET EQUIVALENT) FLEXIBLE AIRCRAFT DUCTING

MTD /CEET is similar to MT / CAT but has wire between the plies.

Q: WHat is the weight per foot for a 3 inch CEET duct?

Approx 0.28lbs per foot.
