What makes our aviation windsocks different? Two major things make a windsock, its material and its construction. We start off with a premium nylon fabric that is made right here in the USA to our exacting standards. Nylon offers unparalleled windsock durability to the elements and will not become rigid in cold weather, keeping our windsocks extremely responsive in even the slightest of wind. From there it gets urethane coated and UV protected, giving the windsock superior fade resistance and color retention. The material is subjected to a variety of tests by an independent lab to verify its structural integrity and UV resistance. This superior material is then cut and sewn right here in our own facility. Our reinforced double stitched hems and heavy duty brass grommets, assures our windsocks long life reliability. Why do we go through the added expense of a superior material and manufacturing process? To meet our customers needs. These are just a few of our demanding windsock customers. Replacement for same windsock that lasted for 6 years Excellent quality, great service from Aircraft Spruce
this is a good quality windsock. It is the third one we have bought. they last from two to three years.
Good windsock and very quick delivery.
These windsocks are made by Airport Windsock Corporation in Burnsville, MN. Ive used their 18 extended frame and the 18x60 windsocks for 10 years and the quality and function is excellent. The frame still spins as freely as it did 10 years ago when I took it out of the box. This is amazing having been subject to the harsh seasons in S.E. Michigan. Great Products! from Airport Windsock Corporation - USA company.
Arrived quickly. The sock is very bright, easy to see and the quality seems high. Should last well. Easy to install with the supplied zip ties.
Bought one of these Feb 2016 and this purchase is the replacement after 2.5 years and 150 of rain, wind, and hot Texas sun. Pretty pleased with it. Even came with replacement zip ties.
Great quality product and fast delivery !
The 10" windsocks respond in very light winds as long as trees or buildings don't obstruct the wind flow. Calibrated windsocks start at 13" diameter.
18" diameter and 72" length.
No, these are the wind socks only. Frames and poles must be purchased separately.
No, this is just the windsock. For a complete set up, you will need a pole and frame as well as the sock.
