Overview

The ball bearing windsock frames are a rugged design constructed of a welded steel construction and then a powder coated finish for corrosion protection. They incorporate a two bearing pivoting design for effortless pivoting. These frames are ready to be mounted on a 3/4” female pipe thread for the 8”, 13”, 18” and 24” and a 1” pipe thread for the 36”.

Great windsock/frame setup. I have bought the 18 inch hoop/sock before but the 24 inch hoop/sock is definitely BIGGER. Depends on how big you want. 3/4 threaded EMT or galvanized pipe with a 3/4” coupling of the same material screws on easily to the hoop and just needs to be stuck in the ground from there as the hoop has its on bearings to rotate on.

Yes, it would work with standard 3/4" plumbing fittings.

Q: For an 18 inch sock, how long can the 3/4 inch mast be?

FAA type L-806 support - those mounted on low mass supporting structures - maximum of 3.0 m (10 ft) mast height. brbr FAA type L-807 support - those mounted on rigid supporting structures - Maximum of 4.8 m (16 ft) height to windsock.

Q: Is it possible to custom order your product with my pattern on the surface of the windsock?

Unfortunately we do not offer any custom embroidery on these wind socks. We only sell them stock, it would need to be embroidered post receipt.
