Phenix Hose products have been tested through independent ASTM laboratories to meet all SAE-30R7 standards. These stainless braided hose products were designed for easier assembly by the end user, plus limited wire frays and spreads which occur after cutting. Hoses are engineered to be dimensionally consistent and easier to assemble with re-usable fittings. The enhanced curing process of the hose uniformly applies the glue and adhesion of glue between the stainless braid and the CPE inner core. This dramatically reduces the frays and spreads associated with cut stainless braided hose products. Operating temperatures are from -40 degrees to +350 degrees F and deliver hydrocarbon and alcohol based fuels, motor oils, and coolant. Quantities are sold by the foot. For AN adapter fittings.

Q: What are the pressure ranges of this Phenix hose?

-4 thru -8 has 1500 Max PSI, -10 has 1250 max PSI, and -12 has 1000 max PSI.

Q: Does this hose have a shelf life and can it be used for aircraft brake system?

These are an automotive/racing style hose so they have no certs or shelf life. They probably could be used for brakes but not on a certified aircraft.

Q: What is this hose lined with please?

CPE rubber.

Q: Whats the material of the insert and the plate?

The plate is 6061 aluminum, and the stud is stainless on this particular part.
