Reliable Dual USB Power for your iFDR iPad Air / iPad Mini Panel Mount
Approved for Installation in Certified Aircraft and Rotorcraft! The iFDR Power 250-301 is remote mounted Dual USB-A power / charging unit designed to mount directly on the iFDR Panel Mounts for iPads and provide reliable power for up to two iPad Mini or Air docks or a dock and a USB powered component. The iFDR Power 250-301 simultaneously provides 2.1 amps at 5 VDC ± 0.25 (10 watt) for each USB connection. Power input and output is hard wired into the 15-pin connector and can accept 9-48 VDC aircraft power and will convert down to 5 VDC. The unit is designed to be installed as a remote unit behind the panel and has a chassis that fits existing iFDR Panel Mount units for iPad Air / Pro 9.7-in and iPad Mini. The iFDR Power 250-301 is a smart USB charger and features a feedback loop to keep the 2.1 amp current stable at all times. The units are EMI shielded and also feature reverse polarity protection. Approved for FAA Certified Part 23 Aircraft and Part 27 and 29 Rotorcraft All iFDR Power 250 USB Power Supplies from Guardian Avionics are approved for installation in certified aircraft and rotorcraft under 14 CFR Part 23, 27 and 29 as "Non-Required Safety Enhancing Equipment" (NORSEE) as outlined in FAA memorandum number PS-AIR-21.8-1602. Power supplies and mounts may be installed as a minor alteration. Please refer to this link for the Guardian Avionics NORSEE Letter of Authorization. |
