Cleveland Standard Brake Disc 164-5

$259.95/Each
Part# 164-5
MFR Model# 164-00500

Overview

If your aircraft is flown a lot (more than 200 hrs. a year) and is not exposed to exceptionally corrosive atmospheres, Cleveland Standard discs are the ideal replacement when normal brake wear requires it. Cleveland Chrome brake discs are the answer for aircraft owners that are exposed to the elements (moisture, salt, industrial chemicals) and are not flown frequently enough to rub off corrosion.

If you fly less than 200 hrs a year, your aircraft spends more than 8,500 idle hrs exposed to the elements. Standard and Chrome Cleveland brake discs are fully FAA approved as re- placements on virtually all popular single engine aircraft.

Reviews

The Cleveland brake discs were well packaged and looked of excellent manufacture upon opening. I fly tail draggers and good brakes can be a lifesaver when you need them. I chose the standard discs which provide great value for the money, $168. I was admittedly disappointed the chrome disc upgrade option were so much more expensive $700 each and chose not to go with them given my operations are not being conducted in the harsh corrosive environment requiring them.
