I repurposed this trim for the windshield cowl on my 97 Subaru Impreza and it worked great!

PN 05-02200 is more flimsy while the PN 05-00951 has a more sturdy mold. There were no inaccuracies with the entire lengths of both PNs and both were left in a continuous length as requested in the comments block when placing the online order. Using these as trim for coin mat flooring. The PN 05-00951 worked the best for my application.

This channel was exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong size for my project. Ill order again from Aircraft Spruce.

It was gokd quality material. I ordered 15’ of the 1/32X3/8. Id did not come in a “roll” and was a bit difficult to straighten out as a result. I think I need the next size thicker for my application and will order that soon.

This rubber channel is advertised as 1/16 (.062) but is actually thinner than that. One side measures .040 and the other measures .050 for a total thickness of .090, with a channel between of .060. Installed on .060 plexiglass the total thickness is approx .145. Part no. S-202RB installed on same .060 plexiglass has total thickness of approx. .200. So this is not necessarily a reliable substitute.

Ive purchased hundreds of feet of this product over the years and frankly, its all about the same. Whats different on this purchase is that it took about 3 hours to clean 40 feet of channel to remove the wax applied by the manufacturer during production. Terrible waste of time.

Too flimsy. Not able to use. Would not hold its shape.

So disappointed in my latest purchase of this item. I have been purchasing this item for years. This order arrived filthy, brittle and twisted. Parts of it I am unable to even open the U channel. This will take hours to clean and even so most of it will be unusable. Not sure what happened to the quality of this item but I am astonished that it would be sent out to a customer in this condition.

Actually, I bought this identical product in Nov of 17. I used it as trim on the brake covers on my Grumman Trainer. I just discovered last week that the rubber appears to have rotted and cracked. I am rebuilding this aircraft. It has been stored in my hanger for years. I cannot explain the failure of this product.
