Very pleased with the brightness of this bulb for a standard incandescent beacon. I fully intend on installing an LED beacon in future, however this bulb is THE answer for your stock beacon that’s burnt out, dull or tired… or like in my case, if the previous owner put an interior light bulb in its place! Great value, will see how long it lasts, but initially I am totally satisfied.

Great bulbs. I ordered 2 and I’m glad I did. I only needed 1 but thought I would get a spare. One box had a 24 volt bulb in it, not a 12 volt. I called Aircraft Spruce just to inform them what happened. The CSR I spoke with was very understanding and even though I said I would keep the bulb and that no action was necessary, she said I would get a refund for that bulb. She was truly a pleasure to speak with. I wish I could remember her name so she would get what I consider a 5 + star rating. I will always use Aircraft Spruce for my aviation needs. Thank you again

Yes. It is an FAA approved replacement for the W1290-14.

Q: Is part # 11-01960 suitable for cessna 172N nav light?

We do not know have an aircraft application guide for these bulbs. A wing tip nav bulb is typically a 7512-14 or 7512-28 depending on aircraft voltage.
