These Direct Fuel Level Indicators are quality made of acrylic PVC tube with a calibrated scale inside. Calibrated to individual tanks, they allow an accurate check of on board fuel level indicators and eliminate the guess work.
For 25 Gallon tanks.
As advertised, fits perfect.
Great for preflight planning, but as previously mentioned it a bit overpriced for what it is.
In essence a straw with a piece of demarked paper inside. How long will it last - we will see. Had a generic one before that had marks edged in outside of plastic straw. Yes, had to calibrate it but would have lasted forever had it not been left at a fuel island.
Works as expected. Fast delivery . As always Spruce is great to deal with.
Seems accurate and Iâve dropped it several times without it shattering so I like it !
i checked it for accuracy. it is exact.
Exactly what I was looking for. If you use ForeFlight weight and balance on a Cherokee, this allows more precise calculation by entering gallons remaining in each tank.
This is one of my favourite purchases Ive made for my Warrior. Its been a lot more use than things Ive paid 10Ã or even 100Ã as much for. To go from 4 to 5 stars, they could attach something to the top (a wrist lanyard, maybe) to keep it from slipping down into the tank if your not paying attention. Thats never happened to me -- it sticks out far enough that you can keep a good grip -- but its always on my mind.
I bought this for my Piper Cherokee 140 to verify what fuel tank quantity is on my airplane. My OM is for a 150, 160 & 180 Cherokee and my Qref Book is for a Cherokee 140. There are specification differences and this tool verified the size of my tank.
Seems to be accurate and easy to us. Way over priced!
This is the fuel level indicator for the PA-28 Cherokee. As long as the tank capacity is 25 gallons, it will work correctly.
These are marked in gallons only.
No, the gallons are only marked on the aluminum scale.
This indicator is for the 25 gallon total tank.
The fuel cap is removed and the fuel gauge is inserted at any location of the filler neck. Generally is read from the Middle.
