Great unit. I installed it in my Christen Eagle. Kit is complete with everything you need and other than being time consuming, was a very straight forward install. I just went with the basic CHT/EGT kit, but will add other options later which is simple once the gauge is installed. The display is very nice and bright, and scans automatically through all cylinders. Very easy to understand and use. Finally found a unit that has EGT and CHT in one, color display. Also show system volts.
Only negative comment is the unit didn’t come with all of the connectors or pins . Nice unit
The instrument seems OK. But forget it if you need technical support. Its horrible. Front line person doesnt know anything and back line never return your calls. I should have gone with EI.
I bought a 350 recently. The unit is good. Unfortunately, JPI customer service is a mess. They forgot to include the panel mounting bracket. Then the mailed it to the wrong address. Holding up the whole project.....Oh JPI....work it out already.
The “Full package” doesn’t come with all the sensors needed to run the motor, by the time you add everything it’s cheaper and better to upgrade to the 740. The rep I spoke with told me it came with everything, so I had trouble returning it because these are special order. JPI was shut down and had no one to help so my plane is grounded till they come back to work.

No, these are available as additional options. EGT and CHT are the only probes that come standard.
If this is a new install then yes you, will need to order the transducer. If you had a FS 450 and wanted to replace the unit with a EDM 350 you could use the older JPI transducer.
