Insight is the world's largest manufacturer of aviation temperature probes. The temperature probe measures the engine's pulse and therefore is crucial to optimum performance. Insight's probes are built and tested to the highest quality control standards to ensure long life and high performance.
The EGT probe consists of a special alloy sheath connected to a stainless steel clamp. The probe tip is installed in a small hole in the exhaust stack, secured by an adjustable clamp.

Product is well engineered for installation. Terminals are offset and easy to attach.
Had one EGT reading two bars lower then the others making me think that cylinder wasnt making power. Replacing the probe...fixed the problem. All Gem 602 bars are even now! Aircraft Spruce always ships my orders FAST!
Speedy service and the item works well.
Bought 2 egt probes. One worked but the other was defective. Now I have to send it back and wait untold days before I can get my airplane back to working order.
